After 6 weeks of nada.
Welcome to summer.
We’ve been enjoying many quick meals – meat, cheese, and a raw or fermented veggie;
smoothies and toast
and other things that I would not normally classify as “meals”
But it’s August.
And I have had so many emails asking when I’m going to start posting again that I finally just sat down and did it.
School’s back in session in 2 weeks.
And it’s time to get back into the mood of menus.
breakfast: whole grain soaked pancakes, sweet peach chutney (recipe coming soon), cinnamon whipped cream
lunch: roasted chicken, carrots & potatoes, pineapple
dinner: fruit salad, assorted cheeses
breakfast: stuffed breakfast pitas (scrambled eggs, raw cheddar cheese, turkey chorizo, cortido)
lunch at Playgroup
dinner: Naomi’s summer salad w/feta cheese, coos-coos
breakfast: coconut puffed pancake w/sweet mango chutney
lunch: cucumber sandwiches, cold tomato soup
dinner: baked pasta w/mushrooms, spinach & cheese, fresh tomato salad
breakfast: fried eggs, potatoes, mixed fruit w/whipped cream
lunch: l/o pasta – reheated carbonara style
dinner: meatloaf, rice pilaf, salad
breakfast: soaked whole wheat biscuits, sausage gravy
lunch at Miss Nonnie’s! (taking fried rice)
dinner: vegetable stir-fry, udon noodles
breakfast: scrambled eggs, toast
lunch: sesame noodles, l/o stir-fry
dinner: egg drop soup
breakfast: peach bread pudding w/whipped cream
lunch: tamale pie, salad
dinner: popcorn, fruit
