Menu for August 29th – September 4th

It’s almost Autumn!
I’d be excited anyway, but it helps that we’re currently enjoying a “cold front”…
it’s set to be a whopping 80 degrees or less for a whole 3 days!
YAY!

Our apples are just starting to come off (okay, so there actually were a bunch that were ready last week, but I totally missed it), so we’re having apple pie on September 1st to celebrate! 🙂

MENU

Sunday
breakfast: soaked whole-wheat blackberry coffeecake, raw whipped cream
lunch: baked potatoes w/broccoli, sour cream, & raw cheese, salad
dinner: roasted chicken, brown rice, glazed carrots, salad

Monday
breakfast: soaked oatmeal, peaches, raw cream
Nourishing Connections Meeting
(taking bread, fruit, milk)
pm snack: coconut kefir popsicles
dinner: polenta, mushroom ragout, salad

Tuesday
breakfast: scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, nectarines
am snack: yogurt w/coconut sprinkles, frozen berries
lunch at the park with Auntie Jo
pm snack: applesauce, crispy almond topping
dinner: wine-marinated beef roast, cream-cheese biscuits, salad

Wednesday
breakfast: homemade apple pie, whipped raw cream
am snack: deviled eggs
lunch: roast beef sandwiches, tomato salad
pm snack: frozen yogurt popsicles
dinner: spicy cabbage rolls, salad

Thursday
breakfast: fried eggs, o’brien potatoes
am snack: ants on a log
lunch: l.o. cabbage rolls, sourdough bread
pm snack: apple pie slice
dinner: pizza, salad

Friday
breakfast: sourdough French toast, apple chutney, whipped raw cream
am snack: grapes, crispy walnuts
lunch: chicken salad sandwiches
pm snack: hibiscus tea popsicles
dinner: beef stew w/dumplings, fried apples & onions

Sabbath
breakfast: baked egg custard,
lunch: beerocks, salad
dinner: popcorn, fruit

  1. Mmm! These menus make me so hungry! You seem to make so much food!! Do you ever leave the kitchen? Lol! I have the hardest time just figuring out how to make meals on the weekends for my husband and kids. We end up doing takeout SO often. 😦
