Menu for the week of September 19th – 25th

The beautiful days of fall are upon us!
We’ve been enjoying our apple harvest, and the last of our summer garden.
Our little homeschool is in full swing as well, and I’ll be posting about our “curriculum” in the next few weeks.
Our menu this week is stuffed with happy fall treats… I plan our fall menus months beforehand (okay, I save it for the 115 degree days of summer…),
so pretty much everything is local, homegrown, or seasonal, and symbolizes everything I love of autumn weather. 🙂

breakfast: baked apples w/crispy walnuts, raw whipped cream
lunch: slow-cooked lamb w/butternut squash, salad
dinner:  l.o. lamb, roasted beet salad w/goat cheese

breakfast: soaked oatmeal w/boysenberries, raw cream
am snack: cinnamon bread w/applesauce
lunch: out with Uncle Peter, Auntie E, and Carsten!
pm snack: coconut popsicles
dinner: lamb and bean soup, whole wheat rolls, salad

breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, toast
am snack: cottage cheese, nectarines
lunch: quinoa, l.o. beet salad
pm snack: crackers, goat cheese w/herbs
dinner:  baked potatoes w/bacon & onions, salad

breakfast: soaked oatmeal, chopped apples & walnuts, raw cream
am snack: coconut milk smoothies
lunch: egg salad w/basil
pm snack: applesauce oatmeal cookies
dinner: beef meatballs, creamed spinach, salad

breakfast: fried potatoes, eggs, bacon
am snack: spiced apples, whipped raw cream
lunch:  meat pies w/beef & oatmeal, sauerkraut
pm snack: gingerbread, butter
dinner: spaghetti squash, tomato-basil sauce, whole wheat rolls, salad

breakfast: pumpkin pudding, cinnamon toast, raw whipped cream
am snack: apples, raw cheese
lunch: ratatouille, homemade egg noodles
pm snack: l.o. rolls w/butter & honey
dinner:  split pea soup, whole wheat rolls, salad

breakfast: pumpkin bread pudding, raw whipped cream
lunch: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad
dinner: popcorn, fruit, raw cheese
